The press pad "Ultra" is a mighty pad for multiple applications.
Press pads are used as a cushion layer between the press plate and cover. The heart of the pad consists of two layers of silicone and three layers of glass fabric, which results in an excellent cushion ability.
The major advantage of the pad are the outer layers, made of aluminium, to seal the pad and avoid particles within the lamination press. Furthermore, aluminium releases easy from the press plate. The maximum operating temperature is 260 °C.
Every pad is produced on demand, according to the specific requirements of the lamination process. Size and special treatments are hand customized here in Viersen Germany.
